The Who, What, When of My Fan Favorite Contest

Who: Any of my clients who had a photography session with me in the past year (ex: 2019 Fan Favorite means sessions held in 2019). There is one exception - December sessions will be part of the next year's contest. 

What: The long and short of it is, Clients receive an e-mail in December if the fit the "Who" that will offer them the opportunity to enter their favorite images from their session(s), up to 4 images. They submit their images and entry fee. I take those images and Post them into an album on Facebook and SHARE them. Then it's up to friends and family of the entrants to vote by 'liking' or 'loving' the image that is their favorite. The image with the most "votes" by the voting deadline is the WINNER. I offer 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes. I announce the Winners on Facebook by blog post (just like this one, hehe).

When: December of each year I start the process by allowing clients time to enter their images. The Voting will be held in December (unlike this year) and the Winners will also be announced in December. Any December sessions will be included in the next year's Fan Favorite Contest.

The WHY

Now, this is important to me! I LOVE seeing the images my clients select as their favorites and seeing how friends and family respond to them. It definitely fills my cup! 

BUT the BIG reason for this contest is to raise funds for the Amos' Legacy Packages Fund. In honor of my son, Amos, who was stillborn just 3 days before his EDD, I want to offer any family saying their "HelloGoodbye" to their baby.
